Description
Website Description:
Tomato Better Boy Hybrid is a seed variety that produces large, juicy, red tomatoes with a sweet flavor. The plants are indeterminate, meaning they will continue to produce fruit until the first frost. They are resistant to many common tomato diseases, such as verticillium wilt and fusarium wilt. The plants are also tolerant of heat and drought, making them ideal for growing in hot climates. The fruits are perfect for slicing, canning, and making sauces.
Growing Instructions:
1. Start the seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date in your area. Plant the seeds in a seed starting mix and keep the soil moist. Place the seedlings in a sunny spot and keep the temperature between 65-75°F.
2. When the seedlings have 3-4 true leaves, transplant them into individual pots.
3. Harden off the seedlings by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions for a few days before planting them in the garden.
4. Plant the seedlings in the garden after the last frost date. Space the plants at least 2-3 feet apart.
5. Water the plants regularly, making sure to keep the soil moist but not soggy.
6. Fertilize the plants every 2-3 weeks with a balanced fertilizer.
7. When the plants start to produce fruit, pick the tomatoes regularly to encourage more production.
8. Harvest the tomatoes when they are fully ripe.
