Peppermint Bark

Peppermint Bark is super easy to make, and tastes just like Christmas!


Melting White Chocolate          1 bag peppermints, crushed     1 Tsp peppermint extract

Melting Chocolate


Using the “Double Boiler” Method, melt your (brown) Chocolate in a heat safe bowl over simmering water.

    Line a baking sheet, or cake pan, with parchment paper, and pour on the melted chocolate, then flatten out to cover the pan. ( about ⅛ inch thin. You don’t want this to be too thick, as you’re going to add another layer on top.) Place in the fridge to cool and harden. About an hour.

      Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate. When melted, add peppermint extract (optional) Then add the peppermint pieces, and mix well. Start with using only half of the bag, then adding more if you wish.

        Pull the cooling chocolate from the fridge, and pour and flatten out a layer of the white chocolate mixture. Sprinkle Peppermint pieces on top. Place the tray back in the fridge for an hour or so.

          Take the tray out of the fridge, and break it into pieces. Store in a mason jar or an airtight container.
