Making Hot Cocoa Mix from scratch is so easy! It’s likely these ingredients are on a shelf of yours. I make this recipe every 3 months. No matter the season, we love hot cocoa for breakfast. This also makes a great DIY gift for Christmas.
4 cups Powdered Sugar
4 cups powdered milk
2 cups Cocoa Powder
2 tbsp Kosher Salt
4 Tbsp Arrowroot Powder or Cornstarch
Combine all ingredients and mix together.
Store in an airtight container. This recipe will fill 6 pint sized Mason Jars.
Mix 2-3 TBSP for every 4 oz of warm milk.
Feel free to add nutmeg or cinnamon . top with marshmallows or whipped cream.
Has a 1 year shelf life.
